writingStyle: Chill Carl

Bold

Samples rendered by our handwriting model and read back by OCR, as every card is. Try your own words in the handwriting preview (Classic style).
Every style is a real pen
Whichever style you pick, a robot writes the card in ink on paper. Each style is generated stroke by stroke and OCR-checked word by word before writing, and we only offer the styles that pass that check reliably.
Digits look the same in every style
Numbers are written in the same hand across all four styles, so amounts, dates and counts read exactly. OCR has to read every number back exactly before a card is written.
Pick a style in the portal
New workspaces have the style picker in the portal, with a sample of each style. Workspaces created before styles launched write in Classic; write to us to switch styles on.
Send it as writingStyle
On POST /api/v1/notes, send the style's API name as writingStyle, for example "writingStyle": "Bold Brian". Without it, the note is written in Classic. API docs.
Four styles, no custom handwriting.
We offer four styles, not dozens, and we do not make custom handwriting or fonts from your own writing. If you need one of those, a service that offers them will suit you better. How every card is written.
